The goal if this document is to serve as an SOP for setting up an event in Contrast, following the standard HubSpot procedure.
The first step to setting up an event, is to create it in Contrast. From the Contrast admin head over to Schedule > One-time event:

From here, you can fill in all the information about your event:

Make sure you include the important information on this page, even if you are going to make the landing page in HubSpot. The information from this page will be used for calendar invitations.
If you don’t have all this information just yet, don’t worry about it — you can always come back to this page and update it.
Pro tip: Use formatting to make the calendar invitation even more clear.

In the advanced settings, you will be able to put the link to your HubSpot landing page. This will make sure that any registrants that are shared the link will have to register on the HubSpot landing page.
You can update this later, once you have the HubSpot landing page live.
Setting your own registration page is important for data/privacy reasons.
**You still need the workflow (described later in this guide) to connect the form on your HubSpot landing page to the Contrast event.
